After a bad experience with a young man I had decided to institute an over 30 years old rule for myself regarding men I date. I quickly am learning though that I attract men who are younger, so to hell with rules, I'm going out with the younger guy! What do you think? Besides, my friends tell me I act younger and look younger than my "real age".

Ive asked this twice now but never makes it through... Older woman and younger man, can it work?

I have a thing for a guy almost 8 years younger than me... he is very mature for his age and has two kids. I really like him but have never seriously considered anyone younger than me.... what are your opinions on a guy younger/girl older relationship. I am not a Cougar, I did not seek him out... it kinda just happened and we have clicked! My friends are laughing at me because I have usually been ageist against dating younger guys. They really like all this or at least teasing me about it!

We were neighbors growing up and our families know each other and I had not seen him since he was a kid until recently. I do not have kids. And I have seen Cougar Town, it is funny but I don't really relate to it (yet!). :)

I really don't think I'm sick but I have this thing for younger women. No people, not younger in the sense of going to jail younger. I'm 56 and honestly would love to make love, fuck or be taken care of sexually by a younger (but legal) woman.

* Do you sometimes take a fancy to younger guys?

* Are you with a younger guy now? If so, how old are you both and what's the age difference between you?

Do any men like older women? All men I meet, seem to prefer younger women. Fact is, I look 10 yrs younger and I'm cute. So when I'm out with younger guys, they think I'm younger than they are. Usually, I don't mention my age for awhile if I'm interested because it sometimes scares them off. I would think that a mature guy wouldn't care about age. I do like guys my own age too that are in they're late 30's early 40's. But again, they seem to prefer younger women.

The last guy I dated was almost 4 years younger than I am, alot of people in our lives had problems with the age difference.
Now I have casually started dated someone 6 years younger than me, but this time it's a girl. And nobody has any problems here. Why the double standard? Why can I date a younger woman but not a younger man? And she is 2 full years younger than he was.

Should I feel weird about this?

Im 27...going on 28, and up until now all of my friends were either my age, or 1 year older or younger, max.

But now that I'm dating a great guy who's actually 2 1/2 years younger than me, and I've moved away from a city i was living in for 7 years (for college + work), i've become friends with a lot of his friends, who are anywhere from 2 years younger than me to 7 years younger!

I've also become close to his friends' girlfriends, who are super fun to go out with, but they're 6-7 years younger than me....is this strange? I certainly dont think i'm "immature"...would you say that's a sign of that? I'm definitely a kid at heart + still love to have fun, and want to keep having fun until stuff like ...having a baby! comes into play and I can't anymore!

But I do have my priorities straight: i went to university, have held real jobs..+ have career goals in mind. this is probably where I differ with these friends who are 6/7 yrs younger...they don't need to worry about stuff like that at this point in their lives...and I maybe at times envy that of them!

Also, i still have my friends my age/older than me....and they all have friends younger than them as well!

Thoughts anyone?
