WTF?
WTF? / Dating / 11:50 AM - Friday January 20, 2006
A Father Figure (Male, Phoenix, 46-55, Self-Employed) asked:

I just read a question that I need explained to me. Maybe I'm just old.

It starts with a man and woman who never speak, never meet, but date online exclusively. What the hell is that? How can you date online exclusively? How is this dating? And what the hell is the point of exclusivity online?

Does this explain why so many people think talking to someone can be called cheating?

Man I'm happy that when I date we actually see and touch each other. Do the two people in this "relationship" need therapy or what?

I was thinking that was a hypothetical situation...not reality when I read that posting. But I guess it could be a real situation. I can't imagine doing it and I'm completely with you on being happy that my relationships (when I'm in one) are ones with "real" people that you can touch and see :)

I agree, human relationships need physical interaction. I could never do a exclusively on-line relationship.
