I've never put myself into that kind of a position. Though I've had female friends at the same time of having one or the other of those two, and I have female friends even now after 33 years of marriage.

The simple answer is yes. If a man is honest (and few are) he will admit that his first thought when meeting any female is how she measures up as a sexual partner. He will always have thoughts/fantasies of other women whether he is alone or with you. He may love you completly but still wonder what it's like to be with someone else.
