FWB.. sorry not tonight
FWB.. sorry not tonight / Sex & Intimacy / 3:09 PM - Sunday April 08, 2007
A Hip-Hop Guy (Male, 36-45) asked:

I was talking with one of my buddies last night as we're watching the game. He gets a text from his FWB... he texts back that he's not up for it.

For those who've had a FWB, did you always go over when your FWB wanted you?

not always. sometimes you are busy doing other things and aren't available on demand.

Once. My FWB was excatly that, a friend. He wanted to have sex, but I knew the only reason he did was because he was very depressed due to some drama involving his Ex that he's still half in love with. I came over, but I didn't fuck him. I talked to him. What he needed wasnt a fuck, he needed a friend.

No, I don't have "feelings" for him. I just think people should be there for their friends, regardless of their dynamic.

I had an FWB before I got married ...Either one of us could call at any time and know that we wouldn't be turned down.
If he was busy with friends , he'd come by later.

I would think the whole point of a FWB is to have sex when the other person wants it. I guess you could say no if your not feeling it.

iv'e only had 2 fwb's in my life, but usually we did not turn the other one down, but it did happen a few times like we were at work or something like that.so we'd meet up later on,or come by the other one's house late at night and surprise em!:)

I'm suprised you have FWB's in your 40's thats stretching the definition a bit

Yes, but not because it was expected; I always went because I always wanted to!

Oh, and for Nico...what's wrong with people having FWBs in their 40s? How, as you said, is that "stretching the definition"? Sheesh.

not always. sometimes you just can't, especially if the fwb has a significant other. maybe that person is at work or maybe they just don't want to. it's okay to not want to. plus, if you see your fwb too often, either one of the parties may start to get other ideas.

Never had one...but if I did...to not turn each other down would be the whole point right?
