Oh, I'm sorry... I read the question wrong. I worked for a cab company and processed all the vouchers... for that amount, it was usually a $2-$5 tip.

now days I would tip a cab driver a bit more than anyone else. As gas prices these days...you know the story.

i usually give them a dollar for each consonant in their name....that can get pretty expensive.

I usually tip cab drivers, doormen, skycaps, etc., $5 period, for each event.

$28. Where I'm from (Europe) the tips are 10%. That's what I always leave. I only leave more if he's driving me to the airport cause I'm missing my flight and he takes great shortcuts. I've been known to pay 50 instead of 30 for such a trip :P
