I would like some advice on how to find out if he's interested enough to go out without everyone at work finding out. He shows interest, but I'm not sure if he's just shy.

i would just come out and say it to him privately - "hey you wanna grab a movie this friday" and when he says yes, then say i would appreciate if we keep this private. if he likes and respects you he will - and i think he will want the same too, being he is shy.

When you say INNOCENT does it mean you feel hes flirting but not sure if thats intentional? Just be careful, he might just being friendly and does it to all the women...just tell him what he likes doing during his free time and Iam pretty sure if hes interested he would ask why then go from there....just say you want to see this movie that you think is cool or you want to check out this new resto...or new bar or somewhere you havent been before and you wanted someone to be with you when you see that place...so there.....
