I got the same thing from my now Ex wife of 23 years. She dumped me and went back to her boyfriend she dated before we met. I was told by her that they "never officially broke up" 26 years ago and she jumped into his bed the day I got served Divorce papers. She says she can't believe how fast she fell in love with him again but she wants me to be happy too! SUCKS!!!

chances are she fell in love with how she thinks he is based on how he was. You're better off without her since she seems to have been cheating on him for the past 26 years with you.

What would suck worse for me is feeling trapped in a relationship with someone I knew wasn't in to me and who was keeping me in a marginal relationship. Obviously the marriage wasn't a happy one so her leaving gives you a chance to build a good life and find a partner that is in to you. If she wasn't happy then she would have come back and you would have been stupid and said yes. I think you need to rethink those events and realize the universe cut you a break.
