A Trendsetter (Female, Columbus, 22-25, Self-Employed) asked:

It doesn't seem right!!!!!

I sent my oldest baby off to Kindergarten yesterday, today she didn't want me to walk her in so I let her go on her own... and now I'm home... and with 3 1/2 hours to go before I pick her up - I feel SO lonely. Which I shouldn't, I have a 3 year old and 9 month old to keep me busy..... Maybe it's just her growing up and just a mix of crazy emotions? I don't know.

Maybe I should homeschool her ? (I'm kidding.. she loves the social interaction.) I just miss her. I can't believe she's growing up so fast.....

- IJS... :(

its ok, its all part of growing up. its a good sign that she wanted to go in alone, it shows shes got confidence, which means u raised her right! She's getting to be a big girl now!

Aww yes I remember that sadness. It's just change is all. You are used to having her there with your other two and it's ALL of you together. NOw it seems an element is missing and it's out of balance. YOu will have her home shortly and YOU will be the first person she wants to tell about her day at school as a BIG GIRL! :)

Awww my mom was the same way. She said it was hardest to let go of the oldest because it was the first big milestone that meant her kids were growing up! And she was pregnant with her second child when she sent me off to school.

Be glad that you have a break from her.
She is going to be gaining some social skills and you can do things that you never were able to do with her around constantly.
Enjoy this time and you will enjoy having her back later on.
