I have a 20 year old girl who is my babysitter, mommy's helper etc.. She is an absolute God send, we adore her. My question is she will be turning 21 in 2 weeks and I would like to give her a nice gift, b/c we appreciate all of her help and as we said we genuinely like her as a person. I am just not sure what to give, she is sitting the Saturday before her birthday so I will give her double her usual for that day as a birthday bonus, but I think giving her all cash is a little tacky. I am not sure what an appropriate gift would be. I am NOT giving her alcohol, in any way shape or form. I would like some ideas of a little something extra from us as a family.

Well, you could do a manicure/pedicure... any normal girl would love that. You could do a gift certificate to a store... not sure what you have around there, but anything that sells junior/misses clothing, or even a gift card from a bank, so she can use it anywhere.

Hey Tara! Your little one is adorable! If your babysitter like sterling silver jewelry a bracelet would be nice. Marshall's and TJ Maxx have perfume which isn't too expensive if you know what she might like. If she likes to read a nice book is also an option...

A nice silver necklace, bracelet, something of that sort...that way she will always have something to remember you all by. And there's lots of artsy stores in Philly and if you're close to KOP that have more fun and funky silver jewelry that I'm sure she would appreciate..
