Seeing red.

I have awful rosacea, have never quite been able to get rid of it or even manage it. I've tried tea tree oil, and that helps for a little while...but then it dries out my skin and then I break out. Ack! So frustrating!

Anyone have any tips? Makeup tips? Skincare tips?

I had that off and on for years. My doc prescribed tetracycline, and that worked very well. Although tanning is generally bad for your skin, getting some sun or into a tanning booth once a week will make your skin happier too.

A little at home trick is to crush over the counter caffiene pills with over the counter collagen supplements. Mix with milk and apply topically to skin. Do not eat! It has helped a friend of mine alot. Good luck

1/4 cup of raw red peppers a day is supposed to bring down the inflamation that causes the redness.

Have you been to a dermotologist? I believe there are medical treatments to control rosacea.

Sorry you are having a bad time with it. I hope it clears up for you soon. I have psoriasis, so I understand what it's like to have unfortunate skin issues.
