I need TRAVEL tips. I am going to California (Central Valley Area) for the first time. Flying into San Fran. Any tips on what to/not to do??

Also, any tips on how to make the Airport experience more pleasurable?? Anyone have personal vacation stories from the area?

Thanks in advance!!!! :^)

you have not done any research on your own about the area where you going?
have you gone to a travel agency to find out what information they have for free?

Yeah. Don't go to the Central Valley Area -- unless you're the type of person who prefers watermelon rind to watermelon.

There are thousands of cool things to see and do in California. None of these cool things are located in the CVA.

I don't live in the central valley, but I can see it from here.

Why fly into SFO? Sacramento is a lot easier, and closer.
Our central Valley can be pretty sucky, especially in the summer. In the winter, it's cold, damp, miserable. Right now, we're having glorious weather, but that'll change.
Do you know what locale you're going to? The southern end of the Valley is the part I avoid; further north, around the Delta and towards Marysville, there's more interesting stuff going on. It's a huge playground.

I love people watching at Airports. It's like there's a big magnet at the airport and just sucks in all the people you don't normally see on the street.

I think you should skip California unless you have fire proof clothes and like smoke. Rosey
