Which would you prefer, being rejected harshly or just not called back after a date?

Imagine this scenario;

You see an attractive guy or girl at a social gathering and you ask a friend to ask them out on a date for you.

They agree but not very enthusiastically, to just give you a fair shot.

So they send you a message inviting to a night on a date to the movies. You start chatting along the way and you think that it's going really well.

You get to the movie theatre and she/he decides to pay for your ticket as a nice jester.

You watch the film and half-way through he/she puts their arm around you and you move in close to them. You turn your head and start making out with them and they don't object and allow you to do so.

After the film ends you try to make out with them again outside the cinema and again they don't object. Then they politely say they have to leave and they end the date politely. You feel that the date has gone really well and you feel that they'd definitely go out with again.

But here's the catch. It turns out they weren't really attracted to you to begin with and actually found you very unattractive and only agreed to the date to just you a fair chance.

When you were walking along to the cinema, he/she actually found to be really irritating and quite dull and a bit full of yourself, but they were just nodding politely to not cause a scene.

Then when you were in the cinema together, they found you to be a really bad kisser and were actually quite sloppy and this repulsed them too much.

So you think the date went really well but they actually have no interest in seeing you again.

So would rather:

A) They never call you again or make an other contact and you can live in blissful ignorance of what went wrong and just have fond memories of a good date.

or...

B) They do call you and actually tell that you were really awful to go on date with and they really just did it to give you a fair chance even though they didn't have much hopes for you to begin with.

Which would you prefer?
