What's your most bizarre dating story??

Another post reminded me of this....

True story....a few summers ago, I came home after work...the kids were at their dad's.....there was a bad storm outside, so I stayed in and tidied up the house. After the storm blew over, I decided to go upstairs, change my clothes, then run a few errands than I had wanted to take care of. When I opened my front door, there was a note in between the steel door and the glass door. I picked it up...it was a receipt from a party store with a man's first name and telephone # on it....nothing else. I threw it away.

When my boys came home from the weekend, I asked my oldest if he knew anyone in the neighborhood by that name....is it a neighbor kid's dad?? He said no.

A few weeks go by and one afternoon, my oldest son comes running into the house saying "mom, you've gotta come outside, someone wants to meet you". I asked who and he said ****, the name of the man who left the note. I was flabbergasted. I told him no. He begged me to come outside, so I finally agreed. This bozo comes riding around from the neighbor's backyard on a four-wheeler and TOLD me to get on the back, with about 10 kids cheering him on. I was so horrified. I tried and tried to decline....he was very insistent....and the kids were cheering....finally, my little one wrapped his arms around his legs and screamed "your not taking my mama!!!"

I got out it that time, but that dimwit continued to "ask me out" thru the my son and the neighbor kids for several months. Eventually, he gave up...but it was awful.

What's your story?

I once was about to go out on a date with this crazy dude who I thought was normal. Anyway, he picked me up at my house, we were just hanging out and chatted, and he noticed some car drove by a few times.

Then he started accusing me of setting him up or something and that he wasn't scared because he had a pistol in his car.

I just went back in the house and said I wasn't feeling good.

He seemed normal when I met him. =(

Lucky for me, I don't have a story to top that one!
I don't think that guy could have done much more wrong than he already did. It sounds to me like you avoided a ton of GRIEF!
