Number 2 please. The only reason why I donate very little money is because I donate the majority of my time. Me and my $20k will die as a Christian. Amen

#2 definately!

Though I have let God down tremendously, God has never let me down! There are things I absolutely do not understand but I believe someday as I stand before God, He will explain them to me & it will all be clear.

I don't understand why my son or anyone else child has to die at nearly 21 (he'd be 23 now), but I do know that my son loved the Lord with all of his heart & he was constantly trying to get my other 3 boys to go to Church with him. My son died trying to save his Dad from his alcoholism (thus he *accidentally* gave his life to save another). I know my son was far from perfect but his heart absolutely was. Never in my entire life have I met anyone who's heart was bigger, more pure, more giving, more loving than his. Everyone who met him loved him, because he loved them. He always told us that God sent him here to help others & thats what he spent his life trying to do (though he didn't always go about it the right way). He was a wonderful example of the Christian I hope to be someday. Plus there's not a chance in this Universe that I would risk never being able to see my son again... not for ALL the money in the world!

Huh? Is this a trick question? Well, since I AM an atheist, and will die an atheist, and since I do give a nice chunk to charity, I would certainly love to be rich!

$20 grand a year, oh boy! That would suck!

Number one, but I would not tell anyone about the charity or claim it back on tax. I believe that you have to truly live this life on earth the best you can. Faith is great, but this life is the only thing we know is certain.

The Christian. While it's great to be a giver, I'd rather have very little to offer the world other than my own love and God's love, and live for eternity with God, than to have a brief period where I can do good things for the world, and then either cease to exist or exist outside of God's presence where there is no love to offer.

This is the deal, and I am glad you asked- if you die a Christian-meaning you have accepted Jesus- as your Savior and Lord of your life- you get to be forever with Christ in Heaven-a place of no more sorrow or tears-
If you die an atheist, you get to be forever in Hell, thinking why did I not Accept Christ when I had the opportunity-where there is whaling and sorrow and gnashing of teeth constantly-forever is a LONG time-

It NOT about money it is a RELATIONSHIP-
Please friend think about >>>your condition RIGHT NOW:

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
We all have sin in our hearts. We all were born with sin.
We all were born under the power of sin's control.

- Admit that you are a sinner.
Romans 6:23 "...The wages of sin is death..."
Sin has an ending. It results in death. We all face physical death, which is a result of sin. But a worse death is spiritual death that alienates us from God, and will last for all eternity. The Bible teaches that there is a place called the Lake of Fire where lost people will be in torment forever. It is the place where people who are spiritually dead will remain.

- Understand that you deserve death for your sin.
Romans 6:23 "...But the gift of God is eternal
life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Salvation is a free gift from God to you! You can't
earn this gift, but you must reach out and receive it.

- Ask God to forgive you and save you.

Romans 5:8, "God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us!"
When Jesus died on the cross He paid sin's penalty. He paid the price for all sin, and when He took all the sins of the world on Himself on the cross, He bought us out of slavery to sin and death! The only condition is that we believe in Him and what He has done for us, understanding that we are now joined with Him, and that He is our life. He did all this because He loved us and gave Himself for us!

- Give your life to God... His love poured out in Jesus on the cross is your only hope to have forgiveness and change. His love bought you out of being a slave to sin. His love is what saves you -- not religion, or church membership. God loves you!

Romans 10:13 "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved!"
- Call out to God in the name of Jesus!
Romans 10:9,10 "...If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."

- If you know that God is knocking on your heart's door,
ask Him to come into your heart.
Jesus said,
Revelation 3:20 "Behold I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him..."

- Is Jesus knocking on your heart's door?

Today is the day of salvation-
You are never promised any moment but RIGHT NOW-
don't say tomorrow don't say next week-

Let me know-let someone know-It is not a feeling as feelings change-It is a journey that has a wonderful ending-
I pray for you that you will KNOW Christ, RIGHT NOW, and He will give you JOY you cannot contain-

I'd rather be #2, the Christian. What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul? Or what shall a man give for his soul? The answer is nothing - no amount of money can buy you eternal life! (or lasting happiness for that matter)

number 2

it's not about how much you give, it's about where your heart is when you give. That's what God looks at.

and I rather die believing in God than being an atheist.

I'd rather be 1. I'd rather donate money to charities because it is the right thing to do and I'm helping humanity more so than tithing to a church out of the fear of hell.
