We need to start listening the voices in our head... and a weird reaction I got to telling the truth


The questions was, what voices are telling ME and I honestly answered what my INNER VOICE telling ME: which is this: 'Get off your ass and start living the life you want. But first, get off this computer and go to bed at a reasonable hour so you can even get up in the morning in order to do anything

Ok, I geot Jerked for replying honestly because the Asker of the Question was being an Asshole and Jerked EVERYONE who replied.

But what I don't understand is why the Tribunal gave me a 0 for honestly telling what my inner voice told me? Which is to basically stop dithering and start living the life I want... which I thought was a GOOD THING and applies to EVERYONE!

This site IS a diversion for many of us, a way to step back from dealing with our own life's problems, even if people claim they DON'T have probelms and only come here for FUN, or because they are bored....

I don't think that's true.

But hey, maybe I don't know anything after all...

(p.s. I'd NEVER Jerk people for no reason at all, for 'fun'. That's not 'fun', that's just stupid.

If you ask a question - be prepaired to recieve honest answers and be able to take it! Jerking people for no reason at all is bitchy and not funny at all.... unless you're dumb or something...)

Thank you to all who responded! I rated the responces fairly and maybe some people 'Jerk' 'the truth' - I do not. If someone is right - they are right, even if it hurts. But when people put you down for the sake of putting you down and don't even bother to read the question properly - they are being Jerks so should be Jerked, right? People who are noble and fair on this site are noble and fair in life. People who are habitually nasty get a rude awakening in real life, so why shouold they be excused on here? and why standing up to unfair should be met with 'lighten up'? Incidently, that's what the bystanders who don't want to 'get involved' tell to someone who's been bullied and spoke out about it. In real life, people who witness a crime and don't report it are prosecuted for aiding and abetting. Someone may not like it but it is the same thing in principle. If it was a movie, those who react with 'lighten up' to a situation that's clearly unjust would be cast as the 'bad guys'. Maybe, not the biggest villans, but definitely not the ones on the side of the hero. Logic always wins, regardless of the emotional reaction that affects how people behave. Logic and fair is the same thing. And rules are rules. It is even stated ON THIS SITE that if someone persistently rates other people unfairly then they will be permanently banned from this site. So you can't really have it both ways, Fanny

To people who missed the point, this Post is NOT about hearing voices. It is about reactions to being honest (and the 'voices' was meant to be an 'inner voice' which everyone has. 'Hearing voices' is a sign of mental illness. If you're merely being facetious because you can't be bothered then why not ignore the post and not reply at all?

I always speak the truth and I always speak the truth here. Sounds like what you encountered was a person who wanted to hear what he/she wanted to hear and you didn't say that...hence you got jerked. That happens. You sent it to tribunal and you got a 0.....thats something new that has been happening alot lately people have been rating badly in tribunal. But when I get jerked and often when you get jerked it's because you have told the truth therefore jerks for me and for many here badges of honor..and I keep mine...especially if i knew what I said was true. I say don't sweat it.

sounds to me like you find this site to be about the ratings... i'll admit that i get a bit of satisfaction when i get a star. but other than that, the score we tally on this site is really meaningless to my life over all. so you got a jerk for giving a well thought honest answer? life goes on.
