Who out there believes in Astrology to a point? Question probably apply's to the Ladies more than

the Gents, However feel free to answer. I am a Leo,my s/o is a Gemini Man. Wow~am blown away how accurate it is being in a relationship with a Gemini Man! Of course I don't believe everything I read, but just curious who out there knows what I'm getting at? One day they are treating you like a Queen, the next day or week they need their space act aloof etc. It's like being inlove with 2 different MEN! No "WiseAss" respondents need to reply. Thankx

Your posting this, period, is an invitation to the uninformed to spout their generic and smartass responses.

NONE of the astrology in newspapers or online is going to be helpful, accurate, or true. It CAN'T be---it's written to appeal to millions of people all at the same time.

True Astrology------is based upon SO MUCH MATH-----I gave up tryint to learn it!!! It's based upon a zillion "alignments" that take place at SPECIFIC points in time.

If you truly want to get your mind blown, then hire an experienced old time Astrology who will do your personal chart-----they are wonderful and insightful tools for self-development, and understanding. When you have your chart done---you get a Reading of the chart that usually takes about an hour and a half!

Not quite the same as "investing" 30 seconds scanning the scopes in the newspaper, hunh?

PLUS, none of us is exclusively ONE SIGN. You are only a "Leo" in your SUN SIGN. You have some combination of ELEVEN OTHER SIGNS in your chart!!! and so does everyone else. That's why a personal chart gets very specific.

Oh---and for the woman who says we only should pray to God---didn't GOD make the Sun, Moons, Stars, and all the other planets too? Didn't God give us MINDS to explore our inner and outer space with? To think? To devise methods of understanding our lives and relationships? Shouldn't we develop our abilities of DISCERNMENT? Jayzus.

In my personal experience, Gemini men are the MOST fun and yet the MOST angry!! There is no telling when they are going to snap. Enjoy the party, but watch out for the other shoe to drop.

Gemini men suck. I'm dating one.

I'm kidding. You really can't make that much of a generalization, but Geminis *are* pretty much known for their dual personalities.

They're also extremely chatty. It's a challenge at times to get him to just be quiet for five minutes. lol

I have experienced some psiphenomenon first hand and I believe in precognition. That makes me stand on a fence where I tend to look for some reason why astrology might work in some circumstances. I have wondered if the basic "science" is faulty but whether there is some precognitive type of messaging that occurs at times. This would make it like Tarot in some ways. I have pulled Tarot and other types of cards for years. I have always been perplexed that the cards with all the same meanings will come up regardless of what kind of cards I am pulling...tarot, animal, goddess, ruins, etc....they will all have the same message during certain times. That is even heightened prior to times when something not so favorable is about to happen.
So I would look at what astrology is telling you for a way to be with this particular man in a way that makes you both whole, happy and fulfilled. If you recognize that needing space is going to be a lifelong part of who he is and that it isn't a negative statement about you...then you will learn to incorporate some kind of hobby for yourself to pursue during those times. It won't become as big an issue for you as it may for some others.

Sometimes its accurate, sometimes not.
The one thing I find funny is whom they match you with to be with "sign" wise.
I never go by that not intentionally though, my heart isn't a "sign" designed by the astrol stars.
-but, i read them now and again when I am bored enough to...with a bit of hesitence.
Also, the numbers they give are bunkus, because I have yet to hit big on the lottery aspect.

I don't believe that anyone should rely on astrology to guide their lives. God should be the one that we pray to and go to for advice on something so serious as the decisions we need to make.

Astrology is not false. Actually it is very real.

However, you have to understand what is being done when you are looking at the data.

The statements that are made are general and so apply to everyone. Case in point. I am a Scorpio. They say we are sometimes dark, perverted and deep thinkers. I can easly relate to those moments in my life when I was those things.

But so are most other people I know. And they are not Scorpio's. That is how we are suckered in to believing what is said.

Life is a simple act of choices. Those acts come from the individual's thoughts. People usually follow patterns in thought/action.

The best thing to do is be aware of what people do and why. Also, see if they are bright enough and willing to change bad patterns. This apply's to you also.

Then you will see past the bullshit of "signs" and live in truth.

i'm a scorpio (born on the cusp of libra) and my s/o's a capricorn (born on the cusp of sagitarius). and if you combine all 4 signs, then at times we still match up.

however, i feel they are writen so vague that they could apply to anyone at anytime. i tend to look at the MBTI (myers briggs type indicator) instead and match personalities by that. its far more accurate then someone deciding that the sun is in uranus and you're mooning the virgin.

On the one hand I do (a little bit). My boyfriend has a friend with the same birthday as him. They didn't meet until they were 25, and had COMPLETELY different upbringings, but their personalities are so similar it's scary!
On the other hand I don't. I'm a leo, and my personality is very different from what Leos are supposed to be like. In real life I'm very quiet and shy, and HATE being the center of attention!

I find astrology somewhat fascinating...but I wouldn't plan my life around it. The crap you read in the newspaper is just that...crap.
There are so many variables involved, as one's astrological 'chart' is basically a map of the sky at the time of one's birth...with the 12 houses of the Zodiac superimposed over it. The planets positions, along with the moon's, are all figured in...and interpreted.
Many astrologers feel that the position of the Moon has the most influence on an individual (more so than the Sun's...which is what people usually refer to as their "sign"), being that it is the closest celestial body to the Earth.
(There is a site where you can get your chart plotted free...you pay to get an interpretation (caveat emptor). It is called alabe dot com.)

First of all I have studied astrology for YEARS. To me, its unquestioned viability presents itself throughout the entire warp and woof of our society whether it be markets, mass movements, wars, or mass consciousness. However, as it applies to individuals, therein lies the problem. There is so much left to interpretation. Whats more, there is so MUCH more to compatibility than the mere sun signs. There are as many as 10-12 other factors. That is like judging the appropriateness of an automobile purchase merely based on the color.

I am a Gemini man. My ass is very wise. I advise you to stop believing in fairy tales and myth. Astrology isn't real. It's a toy for your mind to pass the time.
