You should really go and meet with your doctor to help you in deciding if hormones will actually benefit you.

I am not sure why you are asking but , there is more to us than hormones that can make or break us.

Don't be shy , be proactive and bring your symptoms and concerns to your doctor

and well wishes:)

Discuss this with your ob/gyn. Are you beginning to experience the symptoms of menopause?

I took HRT for many years, but developed problems with it about a year ago.

Since, I've been using a variety of herbs, vitamins, minerals, and supplements to try to find the correct balance to ease my symptoms.

Discuss this with your health care provider.

Obviously doctors cannot know everything that is out there, and many people have seen there doctor but are looking for any information that they can bring to their doctors attention that would help them in situations such as yours. I am sure you have seen your doctor.
To balance hormones, you will likely be given the hormones that you are deficient in to raise the level of that hormone. In women elevated testosterone is a usual complaint, and spironolactone can reduce testosterone levels.
Excercising if you have excess weight, stopping smoking if you smoke, and proper diet can be very useful as well.
