Honeymoon ideas? My s/o and I need some honeymoon ideas. We both agree that spending a lot of money isn't something that we want, so far we want to stay in a cabin for a few days that isn't so far from home. The area of our choice is more of a quite country setting which we love, yet there are near by cities. The thing is we can't think of any thing to do as far as activities, we get bored easily, (not with each-other) and come on you can only do it so many times. Anyway, he isn't the hiker type, and I'm not about to go swimming in a nasty lake, nor will I get on any boat of any shape form or fashion. Music is a big part of the place we are thinking about.

I went to Priest Lake, Idaho, stayed in a cabin, swam in a nasty lake, and paddled a canoe up to Upper Priest Lake. We hiked and picked huckleberries, and watched the deer, elk, moose, and a wide variety of birds including eagles. We would play cards and dance to the Victrola at night by keroscene lamp (no electricity).

I was gonna say the same as Rafiki. Without knowing where you are it's hard to say what would be reasonable. I'm on the east coast...well not really....upstate NY along the lake. But Puerto Rico is a cheap vacation this time of year up till about the end of November.

How about a bed and breakfast near the beach if you live near one? It could be secluded and quiet but you could walk along the beach, have a picnic, or wine country is also fun and have a couples massage. We went to Maui for our honeymoon.

I never actually had a honeymoon, so be happy if you can afford one. Try a nice compromise. I think a honeymoon would be all about sex for me, but maybe that's not what others think.
