First yes. Reason is not only personal reasons, but mathematical, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, broken down as, The Father, (God the Judge), the Son, (Your comforter and your attorney that pleads your case to the Judge), God, (the Judge, who only wants you to be innocent of any wrong doing), therefore he sent his only Son, (himself in the living word) to asorb the sins of all and to be executed and spilled his blood to cleanse us all in the only sacrifice that was worthy of being God. Death, and we are all appointed to one death and then the Judgement, the second life is not life as we know it today, it is beyong my comprehension, and it will be wonderful, the other side of judgement I cannot speak of because being thrown into the lake of fire, is the absence of God and the absence of God is absence of light, hopelessness, and I want no part of that judgement.

I believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen. I believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in being with the Father. Through Him all things were made. For us men and our salvation He came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit, He was born of the Virgin Mary , and became man. For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day He rose again in fulfillment of the scriptures: He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son, He is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. I believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. I acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.

O yeah that's what I call it. It's (God) like this energy...like pure nature and creation. There's no evil in His/Her intentions only a sense of balance. Now what all it written (Bible) I don't give too much thought...we have brains of our own and we all know what is cruel and what is loving and where the middle ground is between the two.

I'm very torn on the whole *God* thing. I really don't believe in him but every so often doubt always creeps its way into my mind. I'm not entirely atheist. I think there might be something out there, but I'm not sure if it is an all-powerful entity. As it stands now I have nothing to work off of but bible stories and sermons asking people to accept on blind "faith" the existence of this entity. I just can't do that.

Throughout history, people have believed in thousands of gods. Whereas most people are atheists with respect to more than 99% of them, I find none of them particularly more believable than the next. If I were to lower my standard of believability to admit one, I would have to believe in all of them, which would be quite difficult. I would also have to believe in fairy tales and other supernatural claims.

Certainly I do. However, I do find those who believe in God, but don't subscribe to religion to be hypocrites---nothing personal. It's just that even those who don't believe in organized religion have boundaries as to what they believe God is/isn't, can/can't do (even those who believe in an omnipotent God), and will/won't do. The moment that any definition is put upon the nature or character of God is the moment that religion begins.

Yes, I wholeheartedly do. However, I dont agree with how religion has tried to force us to believe false things about God. Like fearing God, for example. I also do not believe that there is a burning/firey "hell".

NO. I also do not believe in the tooth fairy, Leprechauns, zeuss, thor, or invisible pink unicorns. Just because a book has been written about something doesn't make it true. There is zero evidence that god, or any of the above mentioned things exist. I believe in kindness, loyalty and empathy, all of which exist independent of a belief in a magical sky daddy.
