I have decided to move out of the house that is foreclosing and not sticking around for the bank.I am a renter of a house that is in the Forclosure process not fully Forclosed but she may be able to turn things around. So many people have stopped paying their landlords the minuite that the Trustee Sale is going take place, but we have been paying rent and everyone thinks we are crazy for not just taking the money and moving out of the apartment and saving the money to move out. What would you do? - Asked by Female, 36-45 |

My lady I to would stop paying her rent, she let your home go because she didnt pay her payments like you did(you paid your rent) and its her fault that you have to find a new home and you'll need the monry for 1st and last months rent and damage deposit and that not cheap, Also you can be in danger from the bank pad-locking the building until she pays or it goes up for sale, you could lose everything and its legal!!Get out now NOW!!!!

Yes I would stop paying her and save for your move. What has she been doing with the money you send her that surely has not gone to the bank to cover the mortage. And then what about your security deposit I am doubtful that you will see that as well.

Why don't talk her about doing a short sale and you take over the mortgage in your name, that way the bank does forclose on it and you own the property now. Must people rent a place, charge enough to cover the rent maybe with a 10 percent variance, so there is no excuse why she not paying, unless they have other debts, bottom line might be a chance for you get the property.
