A Career Woman (Female, Detroit, 29-35, Administrative) asked:

Is romance dead? Are there any men out there that still believe in romance? Any ladies out there lucky enough to have a romantic man? I'm starting to feel like everything is about sex and the romance has gone...and it makes me sad.

Hi
I'm a die heart romantic and love adding in the little things to make it that way. I love sends flowers, cards, walks at the lake, romatic restaurants w/candle lite diners and a bottle of wine. I love going to little romantic overnight places in the mountain...etc. etc. I'm with a woman that doesn't put much effort into romance and isn't mushing, in her words so it is disappointing and I know what you're saying. I think romance it's as important in todays world as it used to be because it takes some extra effort which is a shame.

My boyfriend is making me take three days off of work. He is wisking me away to Las Vegas. He said i need some rest and relaxation since i work 7 days a week. Then just this last week he wrote me a quick email that said i just want you to know that on Friday at 1pm you have an appointment for a massage at a spa in Vegas. I couldn't believe he did that. And when i told him he didn't have to, he said i deserved it. So there is no way you can tell me Romance is dead.

Also just about two weeks ago i sent my man roses to work. With a card and a balloon. He said the girls in his office just melted. I think both sexes have it in us to be very romantic.
