I would define romance as anything that creates and builds intimacy in a relationship between two people. There should always be some amount of romance in a relationship, though big displays should be special and occasional, otherwise they lose their significance. Anything can be romantic, if it's done the right way. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give romance an 8. It's very important, but it shouldn't be a constant effort.

I think, on a scale of 1-10, me personally, I desire romance on a scale of 8 or 9. My definition of romance is sharing an intimate moment or really making the one you are with feel really attractive and special. Romance can come in so many different shapes and sizes. I think every guy is different in how much romance they want in their relationship. If I am in love with someone, then I want all the romance I can get!

Romance is different for everyone. That's why some relationships work, and some don't. Romance isn't so much what you do, but more that you do it. It's understanding what your partner will find romantic, and doing it. It's the little surprises, the nice touches, letting her know that you did it for her. Romance must be in a relationship. I don't know a woman who doesn't try to be romantic. But I do know women whose brand of romance isn't at all stimulating for me.
