Don't you feel so powerless when you have a child or loved one that is ill ?

My dad's health is not so good right now and i wish sometimes i could take the hurt from him and instead me have it.

Legally wrong yes, but morally?

Just a hypotheitcal question based on kidnapping, I just saw the movie Gone Baby Gone and it involves kidnapping a baby.

Is it Morally wrong to kidnap a baby whose single mother is a drug addict and prostitute and raise that baby in a loving, stable environment?

Not so sure about gay adoption...

I had loving normal parents, so I might not know what I am talking about...

But I believe a child/teenager would be mocked or at least feel at unease being raised by gay parents.

Although I believe gay ´people have the right to raise a child, chances are the child would immediately be placed in a minority group highly subject to discrimination, which could easily scar a kid while developing a personality.

Whenever somebody brings the issue of people preferring abusive straight parents over loving gay parents, it makes me think that gay couples are equally likely to become awful parents as straight couples...I mean, IMO, being good at raising a child has little to do with your sexual preferences, and a lot to do with your personality and upbringing. Gay people also have issues right?

I dont think it is necessarily fair for the kid, nor I do believe that adoption is a choice between awful straight parents vs. perfect gay ones, necessarily

Just my two cents

Gay marriage and adoption.....

I have quite a few gay friends. I never looked down on them for it. I didn't agree with them wanting to get married and having children, but I did agree to them being together.

UNTIL...

I realized this country does NOT promote marriages and good family values within hetro relations, so why the fuck should the governemt dictate what could be a GOOD example to all of us? That love and COMMITMENT are essential and being a good parent reguardless of sexual preference is what is most important in raising our next generations.

I think I may just have placed that rainbow sticker on my car!

I can say that I DO support gay marriage and the right to adopt!!!

If you are a parent, what did you have first? A boy or a girl? Is that what you wanted first?

To parents of children between the ages of 9 and 12..

My best friend is conducting a survey for a project for her college course. It is regarding parent opinions on cell phones for kids.

If you have a child in the age range of 9 to 12 and would be interested in completing the survey, message me your email and I'll send it to you.

Thanks.
