Whats the deal?

A couple weeks ago I went out on a date with this guy and the date went horrible because he was boasting on the phone to his friend about his date to the cocktail party for the next night. Also he didn't pay for my salad and diet coke at Red Robin,when he did ask me out. I wasn't interested in another date. But he has continuelly chatting with me online. He was a little jealous that I went out on another date with a different guy. I'm just interested to know why he keeps talking to me online..does he think he has a second chance,or is he just being friendly? I'd be interested to know what people think.
