Taking out an education loan (for graduate school) has never been so difficult... wth?

I am a graduate student... and I need a loan to help me get by (rent, etc, etc..)

I went to sallie mae, wells fargo and AAA... I only get X dollars on my fellowship and assistantship as I do research and teach in grad school. The fun part is... when I get a co-signer (parent) since he has loans out for my other brother and himself (he's in a PhD program) he doesn't quality me to get the loan...

...isn't a private education loan for students supposed to be available to those who don't have the money at the time so they take the loan? If I had the money (to qualify me for the freaking loan) I wouldn't need the education loan.

And yes, I've done Fafsa.

How many people have to join your website for it to make money?

I have a social networking site. I just want to know how many members and/or hits per day do you have to have for it to make a profit. If you want to look at my site to answer my questions, it is www.xxxxxxxxxxx.com. Thanks so much in advance.

Credit Card issues.....

So I want a credit card but I'm so afraid of being the type of person who ten years from now ends up having all of these bills to pay because I didn't have no control over myself....does anybody know any good way to get a credit card and actually know how to use it wisely....I already have a prepaid card but its not the same because I never put money on it because to me its like I'll just come out better just keeping the money in my pocket than having to transfer it to my card every time I get paid.

This may be confusing but try and follow me here

Occasionally at work someone will come up to me and ask me about something I apparently told them to do, that's completely wrong. My first reaction is to ask them who told them that, and they'll say "Well you did." I don't remember telling anything of the sort, so I ask them if they're sure it was me, and then wryly suggest that maybe they talked to my good twin who gave them that information. Later it comes out that someone who was working in my name (I have people who work in my name...I'm sort of like Jesus in that respect), and those people were the ones that put out the wrong information.

Anyhoo, the point is, if there was a doppelganger of me somewhere out there, I feel that he would be the good twin and I would be the evil twin. Does anyone feel that they might be an evil twin? Does this make sense?

Does anybody here work in health policy management? It's my major...deciding what to do.

The official title of my major is "Health Policy Management," but it's very broad. I've taken some financial management, health care system, epidemiology, and health law courses so far. I really like health law, but don't know if I should go to public health grad school or law school.

I was just wondering what kind of jobs any of you have in this field & how you like it...what was your undergrad major? Did you go to graduate school? If so, what for? Thank you!

Why is unemployment asking people to pay money back?

A friend came to me to find out what she can do.
I don't know the whole story but I guess she has not received any umemployment benefits and that they are asking her to re-pay $2600.00 in which she does not have. They told her she can appeal this by sending it in writing. What's the deal? How does this whole unemployment work anyways? I think it's pretty shitty if they are offering this, but asking people to pay them back at the last minute, I didn't think it was a loan deal.

slightly annoyed but maybe not enough to care

My old boss has "requested" me as a friend on facebook. I graduated high school with her. We have a mutual best friend. When I worked with/for her, I picked up shifts whenever she called and had forgotten to schedule someone (she was a new manager). She also fired me--cause a lot of stir, as she made up a story that did not add up and caused much speculation among the employees. She even posted a note on the back board saying I had been fired and the reason "why". Facebook friends? Please. Like I want her reading my personal information when we have no current communication and she fired me. What could be some possible reasons for this?
