Any tips for a brazillian wax?

Tomorrow i am getting my first brazillian wax, are there any good tips i need to know before i get it done? ive read that using numbing creams an hour before will help ease the pain is there a certain kind i should get? any advice is great. thanks!

Should I just give up? I think I should I really do.

It's official, I'm bitter. I'm 21 and I'm bitter. I'll tell you why: Guys my age are nothing but a bunch of weird, strange, jackasses who seem to have lost any form of civility and decency along with a good portion of their IQ points. I don't really blame them so much as I blame the internet. Myspace,facebook, dating websites- seriously!? WTF! Whatever happened to meeting people in real-life social situations? Whatever happened to going out on an actual "date"- not hanging out at his/your house? What happened to NOT getting dumped for not putting out on the first date or never getting called back if you did? I really think I'm the only normal person my age left. I was dragged kicking and screaming into this whole"Meeting people online" thing and now that I'm here I'm more miserable and embittered than I ever could have been if I had just ignored all but websites used for information and entertainment!
You all probably think that I was probably dumped in order to spurn on this kind of rage towards the kinds of guys this new internet age has produced- and in a way you'd be right. Tonight I realized that a guy I have been in love with for THREE FUCKING YEARS was doing nothing but stringing me along and using me to stroke his little man ego whenever he wanted pity- the kicker is he accomplished this using Myspace(Not a call in nearly a year but oh he texted me and IM'd me whenever he got the chance) I really think if it hadn't been for the lack of verbal contact forced upon me by his chosen communication method I would have been able to pick up on this with my trusty bullshit meter but alas that wasn't the case. It's a pattern really: Everyone that I have any contact with via the internet totally screws up my B.S. detector(I have a string of ex-boyfriends, turned out to be one-nighters, and guys who didn't have the balls to serve rejection right to my face like any decent person would to prove this). And yes, to all the smart-asses out there, I see the irony in using an online community message board(kinda) to vent this frustration, but since this is the only way to have anyone perhaps see and maybe even empathize with my point of view I'm just gonna have to go with it.
As one last note: Fuck you internet. I am going to give up. You win!

As for an actual question: From reading the above do you think I should just prepare myself for a life of indignant rage an embitterment?

Kabocha Squash Soup

Kabocha squash, also known as Japanese squash, has a flavour between sweet potatoes and pumpkin. You can also use pumpkin or acorn squash in this recipe(but it's not QUITE as yummy).

2 1/2 pound kabocha squash or pumpkin or acorn squash
1 x nonstick cooking spray
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup leeks chopped
3/4 cup onion chopped
3/4 teaspoon ginger fresh grated
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
3 cloves garlic peeled and chopped
1 inch lemongrass piece fresh
2 1/2 cups vegetable stock or chicken or beef
1 1/2 cups water
1/4 cup brown sugar packed
1/2 cup coconut milk lite
1 1/2 teaspoons lime rind grated
2 tablespoons scallions, spring or green onions diagonally cut
1 tablespoon cilantro fresh chopped

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)

2. Cut squash in half lengthwise. Discard seeds. Place squash cut side down on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Baked at 350 degrees F for about 45 minutes or until tender. Cool, scoop out pulp and discard skins.

3. Melt the butter in a large dutch oven over medium-high heat. Stir in the leek, onion, ginger, pepper, garlic and lemongrass. Reduce heat to medium; cover and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occassionally. Stir in the squash pulp, borth, water, sugar and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 45 minutes. Place once half of the mixture into a food processor and process until smooth. Strain mixture through a sieve into a bowl. Discard the solids and repeat with the remaining mixture. Return the strained squash mixture to the pot and stir in the coconut milk and lime rind. Cook over medium heat until heated through.

Serve in a bowl sprinkled with the green onions and cilatro.

8 servings of about 3/4 cup each.

I usually make homade biscuits with this. It is a GREAT hearty soup, nice enough for an evening meal if paired with biscuits and a salad.

I dated a guy who stopped talking to me back in Janurary. I was happy he stopped talking to me because he is an alcoholic and coke head. So it was a blessing in disguise for me. So I get a text in August say hi. I ignored itbecasue it was at 1 AM. Then in september another one," Hope all is well." At 1 AM. Then in October I get 4 texts. It says Hi, Hey, Plz call me. Can we talk. Then 4 phone calls and leave me two voice mails. The first one is I hear him on the phone talking to someone then he says," Hey can you call me." Then he calls again in 10 minutes," Please call me I want to talk.
Now for my side of the story, I was working at the time he called me. It was around 11:30pm to 12:30AM. I had my phone on silent and I can't answer the phone when I work. So I wrap out at around 1:30 am on the film set and I look at my phone and my jaw drops because. He is the one who stopped talking to me and when you cut me out of your world, I move on. Now all this time you want to call me. WTF? I don't care and I have nothing to say to him. I don't want to even get into is dramatic life, he just sucks up all your energy and you leave him drained. So I refuse to talk to him because he is a toxic person and I don't need this. Why would he call me? Seriously, I don't get it. If anyone can see what I can't see please give me any insight.
So far he hasn't called me back since the 28th of October. So I feel like I am in the clear, I think.
