Help a friend or not?

One of my good friends, who has been out of a job for a couple of months is looking for a job. I just saw that my company is hiring for a position which I think she could qualify for. The position is at the same office where I work, but different dept. and we have a total of 100 people in this office.

I want to help my friend and tell her about the job and maybe even talk to the hiring manager about my friend. However, my friend is a new college grad and I don't really know how well she'll do working at a "real" job. She seems kind of dissilusioned about what working in the real world is like. She has high expectations for a job.

I really want to help her because she is my friend and she is a good person. However, I am afraid that if I help her get this job and something goes wrong, everyone will blame me. Also, she has never helped me with anything major in my life, such as help getting a job and I was unemployed for 7 months in 2007. What should I do? Have you had a similar experience?

People tend to go extra miles for giving advice on AO. I don't think it's bad but the person who asks the question they do want a straight answer regardless what they do is right or wrong. We don't care either.

They just want an advice in THAT situation. They will not thirsty for more answer if we just focus on the question and hope they can find their solution bases on the advices.

I just give it to her and won't lecture more if I wasn't told to do so

How can I choose between two guys?

One is my boyfriend and we get along great but he is a really big flirt. He makes me laugh and i like him but we also don't really talk a lot. The other guy is sweet and wants to ask me out but he starts a lot of drama and smokes (which he lied to me about); two things i don't like. However i think im starting to like him. Which should i choose?
