Anyone heard of the Big Talk Training Program?

I'm looking for independent reviews of this communication skills program designed to help people who have severe shyness or social anxiety. Anyone heard of this program, tried it, know of anyone who has, etc...?
The program has a website, but I'd like to hear from people who have used it.

Any Americans watch British TV?

So we all know alot of British watch American tv shows but do Americans watch much British stuff?

If so what do you like to watch and why?

Is the only station you have dedicated to British TV BBC America?

Ok so recommendations, There are so many iconic old skool British comedy shows,wich pathed the way for everyone else,the best are... A show called "Only Fools & Horses" its an old skool comedy show from the 70's and 80's and had 7 long series. this is my personal favourite. =) Shows called "Open all Hours" "Porridge" any shows wich feature "The Two Ronnies" (Ronnie Barker & Ronnie Corbitt) those guys are hailed as comedy genuises. As for films/movies the "Carry On Films" are very iconic films,there are many of those from the 50's 60's and 70's ( ones from 60's and 70's are the best) titles like "carry on nurse" "carry on camping" etc etc. also "On The Busses" films. these films were the orginal that pathed the way for future films like the "American Pie" films and "Porkys" and all those kinda simular films. Then obviously theres the whole "Monty Python" stuff. You will love them all i promice! =D

Okay....we have to clarify something....there is a big difference between being mean and being a smartass....hell I've been a smartass plenty of times....and I have had responses to question with a smartass reply....if you have a sense of humor you will notice the difference between a smartass and someone being a DICK........

I am so tired of trying to save us from losing the home we rent.

The bank said the owner of our home is losing the home we rent to foreclosure, but she is telling us that she is not foreclosing the home. She has also asked us to move and is giving us 60 days to vacate. Everyone says that she will lose the house to the bank or new owner possibly before the 60 days is up which will makes the 60 day notice void because she will no longer have rights to the home. What do you think about sticking it out so we have more time to look for a decent home?

When making a new friend does their sexuality matter.

What is normal to expect from a friend? And what is to much?

I have always been a brutally honest person. I don't think I expect to much from people. I usually just look at it as I expect to be treated how I'd treat them. One of those "you get what you give" sayings so to speak. I got into an argument with a friend a while ago when she was intoxicated, we are talking now. But she had yelled at me "YOU EXPECT TO MUCH FROM ME!". I don't think I do :s

In your opinions, what is normal to expect from a friend and what is to much? Also, what are things you expect from your friends? Maybe I'm expecting to much and I just don't know it?

she lied to me about hanging around with a guy who sexually harrassed me. it was a very traumatizing experience and she had been there along the way telling me she hated his guts and then she randomly hung out with him? i feel completely betrayed by her. I mean, i dont own her and cant tell her who to be around with and i get that but that wasnt a very good move for a "best friend" to make. when i called her out on it and told her it was wrong of her to do ( to lie and to be around him) thats when she got angry and told me i expected to much.

Why do people tell you not to take rejection by another personally?

Isn't it just some half-assed attempt to make you feel better?

It was by a former co-worker who I also considered a friend. It appears that I'm not the only one...he has cut off all contact with everyone. A mutual friend tried to explain to me that he probably wants to put that time of his life behind him and move on.
