Do you dread the holidays because of your family?I don't speak to my Mother anymore and I just found out that she's angry with my Father for taking my son to Chicago last week because he didn't ask her permission first. Rich, huh? Everything is about choosing sides and if he continues to talk to us than he suddenly becomes the enemy.

Is it odd to never like or want children?I really don't like children and don't see the attraction of having them. I mostly just see them as a nuisance.

What exactly would drive a FATHER to do this?!My dad has always left our family throughout the years, this January it was finally for good. Now that my parents are seperated a complete war has broken out about money. My dad is very well off as he has his own company (which my mam helped set up) and my mam cannot work, (she's a physiotherapist) as she has an extremely rare disease that has to be treated with chemo.

Woman at work has no food for her kids. Her husband got laid off, and as servers - we are so slow right now and probably averaging $250 a week. Its the slowest part of the year. I asked her last night how they were managing, and if she had any food for her 2 kids. (She had mentioned getting food stamps last week, but it fell through - they have to go back this week.) She said she only had Ramen noodles and oranges...

Ever done this to ur kid ?Have u ever put ur hand over ur kids mouth? Nowadays....kids have become so naughty and they scream n shout a lot. I just read somewhere that parents esp moms are doing things to keep their children under control. Have u ever covered ur kids mouth to silence them or when u want them to be quiet in certain situations? and should i do it when its impossible to make them stop screaming? I did it once when we are at the doctors clinic and my son had to get a shot. He started screaming mad and was making it tough for the doctor to give the shot. I had no option but to cup my hand over his mouth and block the screaming till doc had finished wid his work.It actually worked and got my son calmed down but i also felt bad for doing it,holding his little mouth.... but i dont know ..probably i wanted to make other kids better without his screams creating horror in other kids mind. I dont know whether i did right or wrong.... But i fear he doesnt get choked.

In a nutshell, single parents must have a plan to take care of their children when they are deployedor suffer the consequences. It is the same rules for males and females alike. These people know what is expected of them..Like, Major Hasan...he knew what to expect when he joined the services.
