I just cant stand up to a girl anymore

Few years ago I could talk to anyone fine. Now I see an attractive girl, but i cant even build up the guts to walk over to her. Im always thinking "if i walk toward her, ill look like obvious or like a creep." or "she probly wont be interested in me." or "ill probably screw things up."

And when i start small talk finally, i cant carry on with the conversation. Awkward silence kicks in, she "nicely" says she has to go, says "ok, bye!" etc. and its so embarrassing.

What's happened to me?! I mean, I cant even think of what to say or how to even start a good conversation, let alone keep one going...

Guys do you like funny women?

I was with a guy who actually told me I was hilarious and he often laughed hard at my jokes. He was also quite taken with me. What's your experience?

For me it's really two:

"No, I've never tried it that way before."

"I swear I don't know how the hell that happened!"

What do you think of it? I think it is pretty gross but it reminds me of exactly of how the kids at my highschool were.

When people say they are surprised such a smart woman has such immature taste in literature, I smile

When you receive a response from a question where they have not really read what you wrote because they give you an answer that really does not answer what you asked how do you handle it.

For example: I posted a question where I said right off the bat that "Giving away is not an Option" and the response I got was "Give it away" and I said "Giving away is definitely NOT an option"

How do you handle the responses you get? DO you get angry? Do you say "Why am I posting on these type of websites?

Some of my friends say I should not post on these type of sites because of the many stupid answers I receive. Yes I do get good answers but I also get answers where they don't listen such as telling me to give away especially when I said giving away is not an option.

facebook, myspace....the boss got them confused

and said "i would actually like it if you all went online and blogged on MyFace...."

wouldn't YOU like to blog on your boss's face?

What do you think about what I am asking below?

Do you think it is a good idea to ask questions on here for any1 to answer or do you think it is better just to Private Message the close friends you have on here and ask them for advice

Why do people do stuff like this?

So I reconnected with someone I had a school girl crush on many years ago on Facebook. We have been emailing back and forth....and then he includes his phone number....but never suggests I call him...in fact he says to write him back and answer some of his questions.

Why would he send me his number?

Why are people so strange and not clear with their communications?

I realize this was a pretty lame question.....I thought long and hard for about 5 minutes for a question I could ask and this is all I had...sad... Oh- I don't actually feel like talking to him on the phone by the way
