Are any of the *Christmas* card people here, or for that matter, still living ?

Did you follow suit as your mother did with the whole Christmas card thing, where you get all worried if you forget to send a card to someone...

...and than get annoyed if they didn't send one to you ?

...and the funny part is that these are *people* that they hadn't seen in 15 years. What is all this nonsense about ?

Did your Mother tape them to the hall way door, or srack them on a ledge or mantle so that they could fall on the floor to be picked up.

What is your Christmas card tradition ?

Mine is that you aren't getting one. I make it more personalized. I call you up and say hello.

So, what is it going to take to get your ass to Church this Sunday ?

Do you remember in the movie theatres back in the 1960's, those Loge seats that were extra padded and comfy and you could sit in that section for an extra dollar ?

How's about we throw all the pues in the trash and put in reclining Lazy boy chairs, just for you ?

I am having such a hard time getting motivated today...

I'm supposed to be working on my novel, I keep wasting time by doing A'ology or web surfing or doing chores around the house instead. It's a beautiful rainy day, the perfect day to write while my cat purrs behind me...

OK, I'm logging off, I'm shutting off the net and I'm not turning it back on until I've got 10 pages written.. at least!

How f*cking dumb do you have to be?

My sister's boyfriend goes to lay down with his son after they eat lunch cause its his nap time(my nephew's). Then the bf leaves his kid in their bedroom on their bed to nap and then he gets up to take a shower cause he has to go to work when my sister gets home( they share the car because his dumbass couldn't keep up with payments so it got repoed).
But that is so dumb and I am sure she has told him before to put him in his crib then obviously, DUH!, the kid wouldn't wake up when the bf leaves and open the door and go downstairs where no one can be watching him.
This is what happened today and what happens occasionally.
I try to watch him but its not my responsibility in the fist place. I do babysit sometimes, but if he is watching him in the first place and he doesn't even ask me to help or help watch him while he is taking a shower then I am not going to do it. I am doing my work and shit.
So the kid is out in the living room alone or else goes back up stairs to fart around. I let him because its not my problem to watch him when not asked to. They can't assume that I will take care of the shit when they get busy or go f*ckin do other things.
His dumb ass should have put him in his crip in the first place then he would have gotten a descent nap and wouldn't be able to leave his room(because there is a child lock on the knob form inside so he cant leave his room, but thier bedroom has one from the outside so he can leave if he wants otu of their bedroom).

I just can't believe sometimes that there is that much of a dumbass in this world. Its sad.

He was the dumbass who left him to wander. He knew I was in my room doing my school work and I wasn't supposed to babysit if he was. He knew DAMN well. He was the one who left him unattended. I should not be at fault for that. Ever. He is the one who has the responsibility first. The kid is 2 and a half. He isnt really a baby anymore.

omg, I'm so happy & excited!

One of my fave radio stations 106.7 Lite FM has started playing Christmas songs...from now until Christmas! I thought they were gonna start on Thanksgiving Day, but I guess they didn't. Oh wow, I'm loving it right now, here at work, nice and mellow, thanks to the soothing sounds of Christmas music.
