i married my husband 5 years ago i knew he drank beer every night ,i could handle that .but 3 months later my marriage was over ,caught him smoking pot ,to him it was no big deal ,i let it go since then he has treated me like i am a foreigner,tells friends things he wont tell me .its like im a caregiver to him im an outsider well i started gaining weight our sex life was gone anyway with the drugs and alcohol,now its the porn he says if i lose weight he will be attrscted to me again i have my own bedroom now and we hardly ever touch every time i try to lose weight he will make a remark how fat some woman is and i start eating again.i am leaving in january if i can get the money to fix up a trailer on my dads property he refuses to help me leave and says i cant take anything we have aquired .now i put 6,000.00into this place after signing a pre-nupt which has recently been taken out of its file in the courthouse .im not an asshole like him but should i be?? he finally got a job after 2 months of selling scrap metal he cant get a good job because of having a dirty u.a. last night we rolled pennies soo he will have money for beer and gas money he could have gone to work the same week he lost his prior job soo i worried all this time for nothing ,,,what should i do ?

Do I send a postcard to someone who loved me dearly from whom I'm parted, a card with only a

Fractured metacarpal bones in my foot...ouch!

Had to slam pressure my foot on the brake peddle 9 days ago when I had a small car accident. Not my fault. Now the bruising and swelling is subsiding and pain and much discomfort is there. Off to the Orthapod tomorrow. Berri wonders what they will do to my sexy foot plaster or not..hmmmm. Hope they don't plaster me. What do YOU think they will do?

For those who are not aware when someone has a broken bone they plaster cast straight away . Anyone with a fracture they allow the swelling to go down can take7-10 days then they can put bone/s into plaster depending on location of fracture etc. So what did they do to me? The good Doctor put me in a boot cast. darn. Now in the hot spring weather time.. grrrr cant go swimming for 4 weeks and hairy leg coming onnn oh no Cant wear my jeans either .. dam and hate that itchy feeling already as she pokes with a ruler.. lol grrrr....

Do you know the 10 signs of abuse ? (most common)

1. Jealousy & Possessiveness - Becomes jealous over your family, friends, co-workers. Tries to isolate you. Views his woman and children as his property instead of as unique individuals. Accuses you of cheating or flirting with other men without cause. Always asks where you've been and with whom in an accusatory manner.

2. Control - He is overly demanding of your time and must be the center of your attention. He controls finances, the car, and the activities you partake in. Becomes angry if woman begins showing signs of independence or strength.

3. Superiority - He is always right, has to win or be in charge. He always justifies his actions so he can be "right" by blaming you or others. A verbally abusive man will talk down to you or call you names in order to make himself feel better. The goal of an abusive man is to make you feel weak so they can feel powerful. Abusers are frequently insecure and this power makes them feel better about themselves.

4. Manipulates - Tells you you're crazy or stupid so the blame is turned on you. Tries to make you think that it's your fault he is abusive. Says he can't help being abusive so you feel sorry for him and you keep trying to "help" him. Tells others you are unstable.

5. Mood Swings - His mood switches from aggressive and abusive to apologetic and loving after the abuse has occurred.

6. Actions don't match words - He breaks promises, says he loves you and then abuses you.

7. Punishes you - An emotionally abusive man may withhold sex, emotional intimacy, or plays the "silent game" as punishment when he doesn't get his way. He verbally abuses you by frequently criticizing you.

8. Unwilling to seek help - An abusive man doesn't think there is anything wrong with him so why should he seek help? Does not acknowledge his faults or blames it on his childhood or outside circumstances.

9. Disrespects women - Shows no respect towards his mother, sisters, or any women in his life. Thinks women are stupid and worthless.

10. Has a history of abusing women and/or animals or was abused himself - Batterers repeat their patterns and seek out women who are submissive and can be controlled. Abusive behavior can be a generational dysfunction and abused men have a great chance of becoming abusers. Men who abuse animals are much more likely to abuse women also.

He won't make a move...

So I've been talking to this guy for a while now, weve hung out a couple times. I can definately tell that he likes me, because he is always really sweet, he opens doors for me, always insists on paying for everything, and lets me decide what were going to do. The problem is he hasn't made even the smallest move, like no hug or anything like that. I know its not because he doesnt like me, but he is either old fashion or afraid to make a move, because he doesn't know if I want him too. Any ideas on how to get him to finally make that move, without having to be the one to initiate it and make it seem like it was his idea.

Thanks for answering my question. I figured out that yes, he does have feelings for me, but hes just a gentlmen and likes to take things slow. This is refreshing, but It would be nice to actually hug him sometimes. But well see how it goes. Thanks!
