Romantic Ideas for anniversary???? Please help!!

My husband and I have 3 dogs and cant get away for our anniversary. This is only the 2nd anniversary we have been able to spend together (thanks to deployments) I would like it to be special Last year we went to Sea World so i would like it just as nice and we dont live near there anymore. We are just planning on staying in but all i can think of is a romanic dinner and candles that stuff anyone have any good ideas. Please help our anniversary is in 2 ish weeks. PLEASE!!!

Finding a place for the dogs is not an option (kenel vaccines we know noone around here) and going away is not an option we cant take leave to get away this year and we are lucky he is here and its last min. he was supposed to be gone again this year. I need ideas for romance so please dont tell me to kenel my dogs.

Getting over heartbreak :(

Hi .... I feel like an idiot writing this but I'm kind of lost and need a little guidance.

This heartbreak I'm trying to get over ... well it's been a couple of years. I've dated one guy since that time ... believe i'd date more if I had more guys knocking at my door! lol But the thing is .. I think about my ex more than I should. It's been over 2 years... he had some issues that he needed to sort out and I just couldn't be there for him because I had my own issues to deal with. I broke it off with him and I haven't seen or talked to him since. We've got a couple of mutual friends - but they don't volunteer info unless I ask for it ... which I only do once in a blue moon.

I just wish I didn't think about him but he still pops in my head. I miss him ... wish I could see him ... but I know that we can't be together - heck he could dating someone for all I know. We went through a tough time together so that's probably a big reason why he's so strongly in my head...... I just wish I knew what to do to get him out!

So this is kind of a vent / question / opinion thing so have at it ..

Me and my bf have been together for 2 yrs. We're in school together taking the same classes to be RN's (registered nurse). In the beginning of our relationship, he had a job. Never spent money on me but I don't care too much about that. It was nice that he had a job though cause the rare times he did contribute it was nice =]. Fast fwd to now, he got fired from his job (he'll be 23 in Nov and I am 22) back in Feb. His mom said it was ok because this whole time she's been trying to convince him that "he doesn't need a job" so he can "focus on school" and blah blah blah. I have a job, part time 5 days wk/20 hrs. Not much but it's something and it's light enought that it doesn't interefere with school. So my thing is I don't make alot of money. I barely make enough but I always manage to buy us food, him clothes sometimes, and whatever else (nothing huge just things here and there). It would be nice if he had a job too, just so I wouldn't be the only one bringing in money. I told my bf, i'll spend money all day and I don't care about spending money on him cause if I did then I wouldn't, ya know? Then he tells me "well whatever then i'll eat my own food. you keep your money and i'll keep mine (ironic cause he doesn't have a job, but I digress). i don't want you spending your money on me anymore etc". What do you think he meant by that? I think he's just pissed because I think he should get a job. He could have a job right now but he doesn't want it (he could go work w my brother). My thing is, he's 23 and yeah he's focusing on school but shouldn't he WANT to support himself. Wouldn't he WANT to only have to depend on himself and not his parents anymore? Or am I missing the boat here. I'm not asking anything of him, just saying it would be nice if we both had a little something! Is that too much to ask? I don't wanna sound like a gold digger but come on now. We live with my mom so we don't pay rent. He doesn't pay for his car stuff .. so what gives. Is everything just too set for him and he's comfertable? I mean he says he wants to wait till we graduate to get a job but come on dude who knows when that will be! Plus do you really wanna wait that long?! Lol. Anyways, what are your thoughts on this? Let me know ..

Whenever I come home and tell my boyfriend about something extraordinary, he always has to almost challenge it.
For example I came home yesterday and told him that I was on Postsecret and I came across a very disturbing secret to do with someone killing another person. I was shocked by it, and he went on to say that he thinks most of them are made up, including that one, that it wouldn't be possible for someone to say something like that, even as a secret. They would get his DNA from the postcard, hunt him down and throw him in prison for murder. I wished I had never said anything! He tells me he is just being realistic and he doesn't want me believing that rubbish (ok, DAD).
Has anyone ever been in a relationship with someone like this?
