What "Stimulus"?...

What money there HAS been passed out went to cronies of the dems and their pet groups... and, of course, to the unions like SEIU.

But what happened to the money that was supposed to help bail out mortgages?

What happened to requiring Wall Street to adhere to stricter standards so they stop bullshitting people into bad risk investments that made Michael Milliken look like a rank amateur, by comparison??

What happened to FIAT's acquisition of Chrysler (or was it GM?... Shit, in all this bullshit, I've actually forgotten which dumbassed company it was)? I do know, though, that they spun off Fiat, their "BUYER", in rather short order...

What happened to 99% of the promises that were made in the election?

A: Same thing that happened in the past 40 years or so... nothing.

It's Business as Usual in D.C., and you were ALL "had", yet again, but by a slicker charlatain than even Slick Willie...

In essence, you GOT the government you DESERVE, because you were dumb enough to fall for the snake oil, yet again... and just WAIT until about 2012, when the bills for all this healthcare bullshit start to come due... you think the repubs are bitchin' NOW???

I'm moving to Fiji... fuck it... get me a dark tan island gal in a sarong to serve me Mai Tais while we fuck on the beach all day until we start to see the mushroom clouds wafting our way... and then, we'll fuck one MORE time, right before we fry...

Since the stimulus passed, 49 out of 50 states have lost jobs...

And unemployment is still growing. So, was the stimulus a success? Is unemployment a concern to you?

Update: October 22, 2009.
BTW, my thoughts on the stimulus - it was a bad idea. We went into debt, for what? BUT, if we were going to do it - why not give everyone who made less than a certain level of income a check for $10,000? That might actually have saved a few people from losing their homes or going into bankruptcy, etc. Instead, we fatten the pockets of special interests, do nothing about unemployment rates and give our children a whole lot of debt to pay off...

Is there a difference between...

a woman who lives with her parents and a man who lives with his?

What about age?

I am 21 and I live with my parents, but I haven't always (I moved out for about a year until I lost my job) would I have to move out again to be seen as marriage material?

- POP'd by Female, 18-21

Would you date someone who still lived with their parents?

Why or why not?

I would in certain circumstances, but wanted to see what others thought.

My one and only date with Howard

My friend Betsy, set me up with a date with a guy by the name of Howard. I was really impressed with him, he was good looking, sharp dresser and worked at the post office. We went to Applebees for dinner, while we were waiting for our meals I saw a couple leave. I noticed the lady had left some of her spare ribs and most of her baked potato was not eaten.

I told Howard, what a waste, that food will end up in the garbage. Howard agreed. I didn't want all that good food to end up in the garbage so I went over to the couple's table and ate the spare ribs and baked potato.

I then saw Howard talking to the waiter. He then came over to me and told me he had cancelled our order. He then told me he wanted to leave the restaurant immediately.

He took me home and I have seen or heard of him since. I am so disappointed, I wanted to show him off to my girlfriends. I know they would be green with envy.

On the way home, I told Howard that I thought he would be impressed with me not letting all that good go to waste by me eating it. He told me he was more depressed than impressed.

How can I get Howard back? Why did he get so angry about eating the food? Do you think I should go to the post office where he works and try to persuade him to reconsider taking me back?

We need to start listening the voices in our head... and a weird reaction I got to telling the truth

The questions was, what voices are telling ME and I honestly answered what my INNER VOICE telling ME: which is this: 'Get off your ass and start living the life you want. But first, get off this computer and go to bed at a reasonable hour so you can even get up in the morning in order to do anything

:)))))))))) '

Ok, I geot Jerked for replying honestly because the Asker of the Question was being an Asshole and Jerked EVERYONE who replied.

But what I don't understand is why the Tribunal gave me a 0 for honestly telling what my inner voice told me? Which is to basically stop dithering and start living the life I want... which I thought was a GOOD THING and applies to EVERYONE!

This site IS a diversion for many of us, a way to step back from dealing with our own life's problems, even if people claim they DON'T have probelms and only come here for FUN, or because they are bored....

I don't think that's true.

But hey, maybe I don't know anything after all...

Below is the ORIGINAL POSTING - IT IS NOT MINE, please DO NOT CONFUSE!

(p.s. I'd NEVER Jerk people for no reason at all, for 'fun'. That's not 'fun', that's just stupid.

If you ask a question - be prepaired to recieve honest answers and be able to take it! Jerking people for no reason at all is bitchy and not funny at all.... unless you're dumb or something...)

What are those voices saying to you right now?
you 1st/LOL

Updat e: October 23, 2009.
WELL...MY voices told me ''HEY DOLPHACE...I DARE YAH TO GIVE EVERYONE WHO ANSWERS A JERK''...Uhmmmmm sorry pals but I HAD TO...HAD TO listen to the voices...RLMFAO...GOTCH A...That was fun/lol...aweeeeeeeee it's only a jerk yah big baby...besides...I gave it to you with luv/LOL

Update: October 28, 2009.
Thank you to all who responded! I rated the responces fairly and maybe some people 'Jerk' 'the truth' - I do not. If someone is right - they are right, even if it hurts. But when people put you down for the sake of putting you down and don't even bother to read the question properly - they are being Jerks so should be Jerked, right? I will close this question now and want to take this opportunity to wish you all a great week! best! Ruby

People who are noble and fair on this site are noble and fair in life. People who are habitually nasty get a rude awakening in real life, so why shouold they be excused on here? and why standing up to unfair should be met with 'lighten up'? Incidently, that's what the bystanders who don't want to 'get involved' tell to someone who's been bullied and spoke out about it. In real life, people who witness a crime and don't report it are prosecuted for aiding and abetting. Someone may not like it but it is the same thing in principle. If it was a movie, those who react with 'lighten up' to a situation that's clearly unjust would be cast as the 'bad guys'. Maybe, not the biggest villans, but definitely not the ones on the side of the hero. Logic always wins, regardless of the emotional reaction that affects how people behave. Logic and fair is the same thing. And rules are rules. It is even stated ON THIS SITE that if someone persistently rates other people unfairly then they will be permanently banned from this site. So you can't really have it both ways, Fanny

Update: October 28, 2009.
To people who missed the point, this Post is NOT about hearing voices. It is about reactions to being honest (and the 'voices' was meant to be an 'inner voice' which everyone has. 'Hearing voices' is a sign of mental illness. If you're merely being facetious because you can't be bothered then why not ignore the post and not reply at all?

When did you know you were in love?

I know it is different for everyone, depending on the situation, the couple, and past experiences.
How far into your relationship did it take for you to know you were in love?
Or how long would you say is long enough to be with someone and know that you should just let it go if you aren't in love with them?

Why not repeat her number?

This girl and I have been eyeing each other for a month or two. Last week we started talking and we've talked a few time each time for around 20 min. I asked her to come to something but she had a test so she couldn't come. I asked for her number and she said it very quickly. When I asked her to repeat it she said that her email is better and gave me that. Why did she refuse to repeat her phone number?

How do you feel about this word...

cougar? I have seen the debate over it, where some people feel it is demeaning to women. I wouldn't want it to ever be used regarding me. Just because I get an image of a 60 something year old lady wearing leopard skin pants and a tube top every time I hear it...lol
