Do you trust, and which issues should the government be focused on, considering the list Actually the real question is, who do you trust in Washington DC, to tell you the truth
Your President?
Your Senators?
Your Representative?
The Press?
on the issues of the day?
The wars in Afganistan, and Iran.
Iraq's nuclear weapons proliferation.
Health Care (actually Insurance)reform and the costs associated with these proposed programs.
Unemployment and job creation. (unemployment statistics indicate 10% unemployment, but the real number is 16% because some have quit looking for work. Its 25% if you consider people between 16 and 25 years of age who haven't worked someplace where they would be "entitled" to unemployment benefits and therefore aren't on the roll.
Global Warming (this as been altered to a more palitable phrase, "climate change," and the green movement. Carbon footprints, carbon credits, and Cap and Tax.
The final part of the question, is, which of these issues if addressed and resolved do you feel benefit the country and the general public most and which individuals tend to gain the most by making a crisis out of the individual issues?
Consider, all these issues result in taxpayer expense and governments revenue is limited.
