When I was born, I was very young. Somehow my grandmother raised me until I was two. I got Glasses when I was a year and a half. I think those three things warped my sense of perspective for the rest of my life.

After I slid thru school on either the rain spout or the coal shute I was pretty sure I had experienced everything there was to experience (Sheila helped with that one-thank you) and had all but closed my patent office...and the Army got me.

After getting out I hurredly got rid of everything military with the concrete solid promise to myself never to get into that opposed paddle wheel mill again. I was dismayed to find a letter a year later addressed to me that said "Greetings and Salutations, Madam or Sir". It went on to welcome me back into the Army to battle wits with the Berlin Wall.

After THAT experience, I definitely would keep an unexpired rail ticket to Canada in my wallet at all times.

After that it was all down hill, but they never caught me and here I am! Retired. Almost comfortable. Still got that itch to make something. So, I guess I will go into business again.
